Objective
My Goal for this project was to use design elements to convey the traits and attributes of a Praying Mantis and create a concise design.
Research
Through my research, I was able to conclude that praying mantises have many traits, including being peaceful, assertive, still, intense, and attentive. The Physical aspects can distract from the characteristics, but they are more noticeable once you take time to observe them.
Sketchs
Practice sketches to get familiar with the creature's different features and ratios that will be used in the design. Then went into the shading and how to emphasize the different part of the praying mantis' body.
